Sports Day
The much awaited Annual Sports Day of DPS World School was held on Sunday, December 18, 2016. The bright sunny day, pleasant weather and excited parents were the perfect boost for the student on their first Sports Day. The day began with a brilliant torch lighting ceremony. The event was declared open by Principal of the school, Ms. Pooja Chauhan.
The programme began with a soul touching prayer and was followed by folk dance and aerobics to promote health and fitness among people.
Different kinds of races for students were conducted like Flower Race, Fruit Searching Race, Sack Race, Crab Race, 50 & 100 Meter Race, Skipping Rope Race, Frog Race, Commando Race and Get Ready to School Race. Winners were awarded medals and certificates by the chief guest.The Programme ended with the National Anthem Leaving the spirit of sportsmanship in the hearts of the young athletes.
