Grandparents Day -ARPAN
To thank our Grandparents for their unconditional love, care and affection, DPS World School Alwar celebrated ‘ARPAN’(Grandparents Day) on Friday, 30.9.16.
The chief guest for the programme was Mr.Ramhet Singh Yadav, MLA, Kishangarh Bas and the event was also graced by our honourable guest, Mr. Devi Singh Shekhawat, Chairman, UIT. All the children were excited to perform before their Grandparents. Speeches and poems unfolded the little ones love for their Grandparents. Children tapped their feet on songs ‘ Nani teri morni ko’ and ‘The more we get together’ and many more tunes. Grandparents enjoyed the games with their Grandchildren. This was followed by a Talent round where Grandparents showcased their talents. Grandparents and special guest appreciated school’s efforts of reviving moral values in our society.
