Annual Function : UDAAN 2019

Delhi World Public School ,Alwar celebrated its first Annual Day , Udaan, on (Sun) 17th February, 2019 at Pratap Auditorium. Mr. Anup Kumar Yadav Senior legal advisor-ministry of Home affairs Govt.of India.-had been invited as the Chief Guest of the programme. Other distinguished guests were Mr. S K Yadav, Smt . Parkash Yadav, Mr. C P Mathur and Col. S.Chauhan. Among others present were Chairman (DWPSA) Mr. Surender Yadav, Directors (DWPSA) Mr. Gaurav Yadav and Mr. Saurabh Yadav, Secretary (DWPSA) Mr. Sanket Yadav, Principal (DWPSA) Mrs. Pooja Chauhan and Parents.

The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana, followed by the Chairman’s speech .
The Principal of the school welcomed the eminent guests and presented the Annual Report of the school. She thanked everyone for their contribution in the journey of DWPSA.

The tiny tots of classes Play Group to class I presented rich , radiant and vibrant cultural dances of India mesmerizing on different songs such as Itti si Hasi, welcome dance, Ghoomar , Gujarati Garba, Punjabi dance, Lungi Dance , Bum Bum Bole , and UV dance.

The ebullient dancers of classes II to VIII performed on various aspects such as Naari Shakti depicting Women empowerment, Ramayana-Victory of good over evil, Patriotic dance-homage to our martyrs, and dance to showcase love for grandparents. The heart of the programme was the musical symphony presented by the young and talented musicians of the school.

The chief guest in his address urged students to hone and sharpen their talents and potentials to carve a niche for the nation. He opined that education is incomplete without keeping in view the goal of serving one’s own country.

Prizes were given to the students for maximum attendance, and best house of the year.

The vote of thanks was rendered by Ms. Deepa Ganda, Academic Coordinator. The programme ended with the National Anthem. The function was a grand success and was appreciated by one and all.
